1Prepare lukewarm water (30°C/86°F max)

Fill a clean basin or sink with lukewarm water. Never use hot water as it shrinks cashmere fibers.

2Add cashmere-specific detergent

Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent designed for wool/cashmere. Avoid regular laundry detergent, bleach, or fabric softener.

3Submerge and gently agitate

Turn garment inside out. Submerge in water and gently swish for 2-3 minutes. Don't rub, wring, or twist.

4Soak for 10-15 minutes

Let the cashmere soak to loosen dirt and oils. Don't exceed 30 minutes.

5Rinse thoroughly

Drain soapy water and refill with clean lukewarm water. Repeat until water runs clear (2-3 rinses).

6Remove excess water

Press garment against basin to remove water. Never wring. Roll in clean towel to absorb moisture.

7Lay flat to dry

Reshape to original dimensions. Lay flat on drying rack away from direct sunlight and heat. Never hang (causes stretching).

8Store properly

Fold (don't hang) and store in breathable cotton bag with cedar blocks to prevent moths.

⚠️ Never Do These:
💡 Pro Tip: Wash cashmere only every 3-5 wears. Between washes, air out and spot clean minor stains.
